Snapping Shoals EMC’s Operation Round Up Program recently awarded NEF a grant of $5,000 to support our Literacy Partnership with Newton County Schools. These funds will support professional development in structured literacy for all kindergarten and first grade teachers at South Salem Elementary and East Newton Elementary. We are so grateful to Snapping Shoals EMC and all the customers who round up their bill each month to fund these community grants.
