Indian Creek Middle School Technology Student Association proudly announces the establishment of its TSA chapter, made possible through the partnership of the Newton Education Foundation and Views On Learning, Inc. This start-up support has helped launch a dynamic Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) aligned with Georgia’s Engineering Pathway and the Newton County School System’s new workforce development initiative led by Superintendent Dr. Bradley.
Through this collaboration, students at Indian Creek Middle School are engaging in hands-on engineering challenges, leadership development, and technical skills training that directly connect classroom learning to future career opportunities in Georgia’s growing STEM industries. The chapter’s participation in the upcoming Georgia TSA Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) exemplifies the power of this partnership. The annual statewide event provides middle and high school members the opportunity to build leadership skills, communication skills, and team building skills through interactive workshops, technical sessions, and competitive events such as robotics, electric vehicle rallies, flight endurance design, and the iconic Armada Cardboard Boat Race.
The vision of Newton County Schools to strengthen workforce readiness is becoming reality through experiences like TSA. Thanks to the Newton Education Foundation and Views On Learning, our students are developing real-world technical and leadership skills that will serve them for life.” The Indian Creek Middle School TSA Chapter looks forward to a year of growth, creativity, and innovation as students take their first steps toward becoming Georgia’s next generation of engineers, inventors, and problem solvers.
