Gail Rothman
Consulting Executive Director
Gail is a passionate, visionary and entrepreneurial leader with extensive expertise in running and advising education foundations. As the Founder of Rothman Solutions, she partners with organizations to strengthen strategy, build capacity, and expand impact. Her background includes establishing and executing organizational vision, developing new revenue channels, building organizational capacity, developing high impact programs and teams, and facilitating board development and engagement.
Before working with NEF, Gail served for 14 years as the executive director of the Decatur Education Foundation, where she was known for her authentic leadership style and willingness to tackle the hardest issues facing youth in her community. Since stepping into her role with NEF, Gail has played a pivotal role in strengthening strategy, developing strong community partnerships, and advancing initiatives that directly support students.
