Elizabeth was born and raised in Newton County and spent much of her career helping Newton County students. Recently retired from the Newton County School System, Elizabeth served as a high school counselor at Eastside High School and the Newton College and Career Academy, and focused on helping seniors with college and career readiness. Her involvement in the school system has always been a central part of her life, reflecting her passion for giving back. Post-retirement, Elizbeth looks forward to dedicating her time to volunteering to expand the impact of Newton Education Foundation and continuing her service to others in a community she loves.
