When Kitonya Morrow, Humanities Instructional Specialist at Newton County Schools, reached out about honoring winners at the Superintendent’s Art Gallery World of Wonder event, it was easy to say YES!
This event, held on October 8, showcased the incredible artistic talent of students across Newton County Schools and highlighted Hispanic Heritage Month with a special art display. NEF Board Member Michelle Jenkins presented gift cards to the winners and highlighted the strength of our partnership with Newton County Schools in her remarks.
After the event Ms. Morrow emailed, “thank you so much for coming. We truly appreciate the support that you give to the teachers and students in our district.”
