The Newton Education Foundation Teacher Innovation Grant (TIG) program is designed to support teachers by providing funds that allow them to enhance learning for their students. This support can take many forms including (but not limited to): purchasing equipment for the classroom, meeting the specific learning needs of a small group of students, providing students with a culminating activity to highlight learning – the ideas are limited only by a teacher’s creativity!

Within this basic framework, NEF will consider a broad range of requests. TIG funds can provide seed money for a project that will be ongoing but is not intended to provide repeat funding for multiple years. Our grant awards range from $300 – $3,000.

A link to the teacher grant application will be posted here when the next cycle opens.
